Paul Gigliotti

Paul GigliottiSocial studies teacher and classroom technologist, Paul Gigliotti, has fired the imagination of students for almost ten years. Paul has melded his academic background in history, education and educational technology with his passion for new teaching processes and techniques. His Social Studies courses are a showcase for how effective hands-on teaching methods and classroom tools can turn students into eager learners.

Mr. Gigliotti's students have benefited and excelled from his work with Mimio Interactive whiteboards, innovative web based assignments, virtual classrooms, podcasts, multimedia presentations, video, and other classroom technologies.

Paul has been a featured speaker at the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) and at the Ohio Middle School Association (OMSA). As an Adjunct Professor, he has developed and taught several graduate courses in educational technology for Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio. Paul Gigliotti has a Masters Degree in Educational Technology from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Gigliotti was awarded a PTA lifetime achievement award in 2007 as well as the prestigious "Ohio Middle School Teacher of the Year Award" in 2008.
