DYMO/Mimio wins the red dot design award 2011

MimioClassroom suite of products wins the 2011 red dot award for product design!

An international jury has selected DYMO/Mimio to receive the prestigious red dot award for 2011, in recognition of the outstanding product design of the MimioClassroom family of products.

Red Dot Award 2011

First introduced in 1955, the international “red dot design award” is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world. The 2011 red dot award winners were selected by a jury of 36 design experts who reviewed 4,433 products from over 60 countries for the prestigious honor.

The prize, awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany, gives winning products the honor of carrying the red dot logo, a label known internationally for “highest quality.” In addition, the red dot design museum at the Zollverein World Cultural Heritage site in Essen will display the entire MimioClassroom suite this summer in their “Design on Stage” exhibit: the MimioTeach interactive system, MimioVote assessment system, MimioView document camera, MimioCapture ink recording system, and MimioPad wireless tablet. The “invisible” powerhouse behind them: MimioStudio 7 software.

Winners!
