DYMO/Mimio Wins the Codie Award

MimioStudio 7 Software Selected as 2011 CODiE Award Winner

DYMO/Mimio® is the recipient of the prestigious CODiE Award for its MimioStudio™ 7 software, in the category Best Educational Use of a Device-Specific Application. The CODiE Awards program recognizes excellence and achievement in the business software, digital content, and education technology industries. It is the only peer-reviewed awards program within those sectors.

CODIE 2011

Originally called the Excellence in Software Awards, the CODiE Awards were established in 1986 by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), now the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). The program allowed the pioneers of the then-nascent software industry to evaluate and honor each other's work. Since then, the CODiE Awards program has carried out the same purpose: to showcase the software and information industry's finest products and services, and to honor excellence in corporate achievement.

The 425 nominated products and services were first reviewed by third-party judges, whose evaluations determined the 113 finalists. SIIA President Ken Wasch notes that the winners “are a prolific testament to the power of technology to deliver innovative solutions to businesses and consumers."
