Headsprout Acquired By Mimio
Seattle, WASH, March 15, 2011 - Seattle-based Headsprout, a developer of educational software for helping students in reading, has been acquired by DYMO/Mimio ITT. Mimio, based in Cambridge, Mass., is a developer of interactive teaching technology. Financial termso f the acquisition were not announced. DYMO/Mimio said the acquisition will further strengthen its portfolio of products. Mimio said that Headsprout's management team has "been invited" to oversee Headsprout's operations. DYMO/Mimio is a unit of Newell Rubbermaid.
