MIMIO PROMOTES STEPHEN MEFFORD TO NATIONAL SALES MANAGER, U.S. MARKET

CAMBRIDGE, MA – Sep. 24, 2012 – Mimio, a global leader in interactive teaching technologies, has tapped Stephen Mefford to serve as national sales manager for the U.S. market for its interactive classroom products. A seasoned sales executive, Mefford has been at Mimio for the past seven years and brings to the position 16 years of diverse experience in business and technology sales. In his new role, Mefford will be responsible for leading the team of Mimio territory managers as well as the reseller partners throughout the U.S., who supply Mimio’s interactive teaching technologies for K-12 schools and districts.

Mefford most recently served as Mimio’s senior manager, east sales directing sales efforts in 25 Central and Eastern states for a growing number of schools and districts as well as a network of some of the industry's leading resellers. Prior to that, Mefford rose through the ranks of Mimio serving as senior manager, partner development; and before that regional sales manager, Central and Midwest territories. Previously, Mefford held positions at Master Halco, Inc., Midwest Computer Products, Inc., Tatung Science & Technology, Inc., Tubular Steel, Inc., and Callero Management Information Systems. A former Marine, Mefford attended Eastern Illinois University.
