Mimio Wins Prestigious 2012 Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence Honor and is Named One of Top 100 Products in District Administration’s Readers’ Choice Award Program
Highly-Regarded MimioTeach and MimioStudio9 Software Recognized for Significant Enhancements to Proven Educational Tools
CAMBRIDGE, MA - Nov. 28, 2012 Mimio, a global leader in interactive teaching technologies, announced today that its MimioTeach™ interactive whiteboard and MimioStudio™9 classroom software were recently honored with two significant awards, demonstrating its continued efficacy in providing teachers and students with a better way to learn.
Earlier this month, Mimio was selected as winner in the esteemed 30th annual Awards of Excellence program sponsored by Tech & Learning magazine. A panel of more than 30 educators tested each of the entries and chose the winners.
Entries were divided into two categories: New Products and Best Upgraded Products. Winning selections included software and Web-based products, as well as hardware and AV tools. Of the winning products, Mimio was the only interactive whiteboard solution honored and will be featured, along with the other winners, in the December 2012 Awards Issue of Tech & Learning and at www.TechLearning.com.

This week, the editors of District Administration magazine named MimioTeach as one of the Readers’ Choice Top 100 products for 2012. The District Administration honor is given annually to organizations that provide technologically solutions that positively impact K-12 classrooms, schools and districts.
The winners of District Administration’s Readers’ Choice Top 100 Products of 2012 were selected by the editors of the magazine from a record number of nominations submitted by readers, including superintendents and district-level directors in districts across the United States. The winners will be featured both on the District Administration Website at www.districtadministration.com and in the magazine’s December issue. The winning products were determined by the quantity of nominations received per product, as well as an evaluation of product quality based upon readers’ nominations and explanations. The Readers’ Choice awards program provides senior district leaders with the unique opportunity to learn what products their colleagues around the country are using and how these products contribute to the success of their districts.
